Job summary

Sigma Computing is hiring a Staff AI/ML Engineer to build the AI foundation powering our data analytics platform. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and engineering, prototyping and deploying AI systems such as recommendations, natural-language interfaces, and agentic workflows.

You will scale AI/ML infrastructure for internal tools and customer-facing features, tackling UX problems at the AI/BI/app intersection. A 10+ year track record and a Bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience building and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems.
• Deep knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and applied AI.
• Experience across the full ML lifecycle: data curation, training, deployment, monitoring.
• Track record of shipping AI features such as recommendations or NLP systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, design, and engineering to identify high-impact AI/ML opportunities.
• Prototype and productionize AI systems such as recommendations, natural-language interfaces, and agentic workflows.
• Develop and scale AI/ML infrastructure powering internal tooling and customer-facing features.
• Tackle UX challenges at the intersection of AI, BI, and apps.
