Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and operationalize advanced AI/ML solutions that deliver measurable value across mission, operational, and business domains.

You will shape architectures, select models, and lead end-to-end pipelines with domain partners, delivering robust AI-enabled apps. The role requires deep research and hands-on engineering, with opportunities to mentor engineers, drive governance, and implement responsible AI practices

Qualifications

Must have 3+ years of applied AI/ML engineering with production deployments.
Experience with LLMs, fine-tuning, RAG, and prompt engineering.
Strong Python proficiency and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, HF).
Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
Experience in real-world, air-gapped environments and CI/CD for ML.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy scalable AI/ML tools for generative use cases.
Develop end-to-end ML pipelines: data ingestion, training, evaluation, and monitoring.
Implement production-grade inference systems and integrate models into apps.
Lead experimentation, hypotheses, evaluations, and performance improvements.
Collaborate with engineering to build robust, secure AI architectures.
Provide prompt tuning and bias mitigation for safety and accuracy.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal standards.
Ensure responsible AI, governance, explainability, and ethics.
