Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Senior AI/ML Data Engineer in Frisco, TX to lead design, development, and optimization of cloud-native data platforms and real-time pipelines. You will deploy production ML workloads, build scalable data solutions, and mentor team members in a highly collaborative environment.

The role involves working across the full data lifecycle from ingestion to model deployment, monitoring, and AI-powered applications, with emphasis on scalable architectures and measurable business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of experience, or Master’s with 4+ years
• Strong hands-on development experience with Python and SQL
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines in a code-first environment
• Experience with modern data engineering tools such as dbt, Airflow, Cloud Composer, or similar platforms
• Experience working with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP); AWS experience also considered
• Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, semantic layers, and data governance best practices
• Experience with real-time or event-driven architectures using Pub/Sub, Kafka, Dataflow, or comparable technologies
• Experience deploying, monitoring, or supporting machine learning platforms and production ML workloads
• Understanding of MLOps concepts including CI/CD, model versioning, testing, monitoring, and observability
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies including LLMs, vector embeddings, semantic search, automation agents, or RAG solutions
• Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j, Neptune, or similar technologies
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of technical solutions
