Job summary

Kiewit Technology Group seeks a motivated Software Engineer to join the MCP Engineering Team in LaVista, NE or Lenexa, KS. You will design, develop, test, and support MCP servers and integrations enabling AI agents and enterprise apps to securely interact with business systems and databases.

You will work with the Tech Lead, Product Owner, QA, and stakeholders to build scalable MCP solutions, APIs, and reusable services, focusing on robust, secure code and modern AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Experience developing APIs and application integrations.
• Experience with cloud-hosted applications.
• Familiarity with MCP architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities
