Job summary

Groq is seeking a Sr./Staff Forward Deployed Engineer focused on AI infrastructure to drive production deployments of cutting-edge accelerator andGroq platform technologies. You will own complex customer engagements across Linux, Kubernetes, Slurm, and networking, turning requirements into validated deployments.

You will operate across GroqCloud, GroqMetal, GPU and LPX infrastructure, and drive scalable tooling, automation, and reference architectures while collaborating with Security, Platform,

Qualifications

4+ years building or operating large-scale cloud/AI infrastructure.
Strong Linux fundamentals and distributed systems knowledge.
Depth in at least one area (GPU/accelerator, networking, storage).
Experience with AI training/inference workloads and performance characteristics.
Proficient in Python/Go/Bash for tooling and automation.
Proven track record debugging and delivering systems end-to-end.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end customer engagements from discovery to production readiness.
Tune and troubleshoot across Linux, bare-metal, Kubernetes, Slurm, networking and storage.
Develop reusable tools, automation, and reference architectures.
Participate in PoCs, architecture reviews and performance benchmarking.
Collaborate with security, Networking, and Platform teams for enterprise needs.
