DeepMind Technologies Limited seeks a leader to build and scale the Gemini App’s serving stack. You will guide infrastructure choices, shape architecture, and drive delivery in a dynamic AI-focused environment.

You will lead high-impact AI/ML product launches, navigate cross-functional teams, and collaborate across time zones to accelerate innovation while maintaining safety and ethics as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in CS/AI or related field.
• Experience building, scaling, and debugging backend serving infrastructure or LLM-centric architectures.
• Experience leading the technical development and successful launch of high-impact software products in AI/ML/LLM space.

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality serving infrastructure and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities, project uncertainties, and tight deadlines.
• Articulate the team’s goals to executive leadership and align key stakeholders across Gemini App.
• Cross-pollinate ideas and apply learnings across projects to foster a collaborative environment.
• Work with distributed teams across multiple time zones to keep projects moving forward.
