Job summary

Astreya seeks an AI Infrastructure Datacenter Design Engineer – Level 4 in Nashville to lead highly complex data hall designs and strategic infrastructure initiatives.

You will define standards, enforce design governance, mentor engineers, and coordinate across programs while driving upgrades and capacity planning.

The role requires expert data center knowledge, 10+ years of leadership, and relevant certifications; base pay ranges from $114,000 to $180,000 USD.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Expert-level knowledge of data center infrastructure and architecture.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure programs.
• Relevant certifications preferred (CCNA, PMP, Autodesk, ITIL).

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale infrastructure design initiatives across multiple data halls or regions.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, design methodologies, and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership for upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
• Mentor senior engineers and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Review and approve critical infrastructure designs and decisions.
• Drive innovation in data center design processes and technologies.
• Partner with leadership on capacity planning and strategic roadmap.
• Manage high-priority escalations and troubleshooting support.
• Support vendor evaluations and architecture governance processes.
