Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is seeking a Senior AI Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to guide teams through cloud migration, AI platform adoption, and operational optimization in a fully remote role. This position requires expertise in Azure AI Foundry and Google Gemini Enterprise, plus multi-cloud experience with Azure and GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experience.
• 5 years of Cloud Infrastructure and Software Engineering experience.
• Experience with enterprise network design including segmentation models, encryption, logging and monitoring.
• Experience with firewalls, network authentication controls, and Linux/Windows operating systems.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Logstash, CloudTrail.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for installation and support of Cloud software and services for production deployments.
• Automate infrastructure and services using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and recommend cloud services and tools meeting business needs considering environment, security, and cost.
• Define technical solutions to meet business needs through Agile processes.
• Handle day-to-day cloud infrastructure tasks: monitoring, alerts, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with architecture and development teams to decide on on-prem vs cloud workloads.
• Assist in evaluating and migrating on-premises systems to cloud environments; build highly redundant environments for uptime and continuity.
• Maintain infrastructure design documentation and educate teams on new cloud initiatives.
