Job summary

CoreWeave in Bellevue, WA, seeks a Senior Engineering Manager for the AI/ML Platform to lead the W&B Inference product team, productizing and operating our inference offering to be a polished, reliable, developer-friendly solution.

You will partner with Product and engineering to drive reliability, observability, and developer tooling, guiding roadmap execution and ensuring strong cross-team collaboration. This role combines executive leadership with hands-on delivery for real-world AI workloads.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in leading engineering teams for distributed systems or large-scale services.
• Fluent in concepts related to distributed compute services, observability, autoscaling, reliability, API design, and service operations.
• Able to balance latency, reliability, cost, and development velocity across competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the engineering team responsible for evolving and operating the W&B Inference product, focusing on reliability and developer experience.
• Drive execution on roadmap initiatives with Product to deliver platform capabilities robustly and with measurable customer impact.
• Own engineering processes for the inference productization layer, including incident response, release management, and observability.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to integrate capabilities into a cohesive product.
• Guide design and delivery of application-layer enhancements such as tracing and tool call handling.
• Ensure the offering meets high standards of reliability, usability, and performance while balancing cost and architecture constraints.
• Create clarity in cross-functional environments with strong communication and aligned priorities.
