Job summary

BeOne Medicines Ltd. seeks a Senior Manager, AI implementation to operationalize AI across Commercial and Medical teams. This role will define semantic layers over oncology data, ensure guardrails and regulatory compliance, and drive end-to-end AI-enabled insights and RAG capabilities.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of oncology patient journey experience, hands-on coding skills, and strong collaboration with data engineering, BI, and medical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in AI, Data Science, CS, Engineering, Statistics, Biomedical Informatics, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 3+ years of oncology-focused patient journey data experience.
• Hands-on coding experience with data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create and govern semantic layer over the commercial/medical data warehouse, including entities and definitions.
• Collaborate with data engineering, BI, MDM, and stakeholders to model patient/HCP data assets for AI use.
• Translate data definitions and business context into reusable metadata and retrieval patterns.
• Support the design of an insight generation engine on top of data and semantic layers.
• Define evaluation criteria for data readiness and insight quality.
• Coordinate AI guardrails across teams to ensure proper data handling and compliance.
• Validate and improve RAG-based chat interfaces and knowledge retrieval solutions.
• Develop AI-generated meeting-ready outputs with templates and source attribution.
• Map AI use cases to data sources, model workflows, and BI outputs.
• Prototype code, prompts, and APIs to accelerate AI capabilities.
• Ensure governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
