Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a senior Frontend Engineer to own the G RACE frontend, including the Chainlit chat interface and React/TypeScript UI layers. You will drive real-time AI experiences, streaming outputs, and rich rendering across code blocks, diagrams, and maps.

Collaborate with backend engineers, UX researchers, and designers to ship robust interfaces with accessibility and strong performance, at scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building production web applications frontend.
• 5+ years designing AI/LLM/chat/agentic products with streaming outputs.
• 5+ years front-end patterns for agentic AI including streaming UX and multi-agent workflows.
• 5+ years real-time UI with WebSockets or SSE and performance optimizations.
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and React, hooks, state management.

Responsibilities

• Own the G RACE frontend end-to-end, including Chainlit chat and React/TypeScript UI.
• Render rich AI output with streaming, markdown, code blocks, diagrams, and maps.
• Design interaction patterns for agentic workflows, tool-call visibility, and long-running task handling.
• Implement frontend-facing integrations with data sources and APIs, including LLM outputs and tool results.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts and maintain production-quality code.
• Mentor and unblock other engineers, promoting coding standards and accessibility.
