Capgemini, a global leader in technology and consulting, seeks an experienced software professional to design and build production-grade conversational AI applications. The role focuses on Python development, Gemini/Generative AI technologies, Vertex AI, and integration with enterprise systems within a hybrid US-based framework.

Qualifications

• Senior candidate with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on Python/software engineering.
• Experience in Gemini / Generative AI app development and Vertex AI.
• Solid exposure to REST APIs and JSON.
• Experience with GCP deployment, IAM and security fundamentals.
• Experience with enterprise integration and multi-agent architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade conversational and agentic AI applications.
• Develop hands-on using Python and APIs.
• Build and troubleshoot CES / GECX integrations and modernization scenarios.
• Implement tool/function calling, workflows and agent orchestration.
• Develop RAG and enterprise grounding solutions over structured data.
• Integrate agents with enterprise APIs, databases, CRM and backend systems.
• Develop full-stack components to deliver customer solutions.
• Ensure secure authentication, IAM and secrets management.
• Deploy applications using GCP services.
• Analyze production issues across agent components and telemetry.
• Prototype solutions and move validated prototypes toward production readiness.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to debug and resolve blockers.
