Job summary

Oligo Security in Hawthorne, CA is hiring a Senior Software/AI Engineer to advance generative design and automation for spacecraft manufacturing. You will build foundation models, agentic AI, and integrate with simulations to accelerate design-to-flight readiness.

You’ll work with spacecraft engineers and flight software teams, own end-to-end ML/automation pipelines, and help shape Zenith, our AI software stack. This hands-on role demands deep ML/AI expertise and strong software craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, ML/AI, or related field.
• 4+ years building advanced ML/AI systems (LLM agent frameworks, RL, transformers).
• Strong Python (PyTorch) and C/C++/C# proficiency.
• Ability to balance simulation fidelity, inference speed, and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Develop foundation models with spatial reasoning for spacecraft design automations.
• Design self-supervised and low-data training schemes.
• Develop automation tooling to accelerate design processes.
• Create agentic VLM frameworks that parse documents into constraints.
• Train models with reinforcement learning for multi-objective design spaces.
• Interface with physical simulators and CAD tools to ground designs.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers; code will be tested on real hardware.
