Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters in CS/Engineering/AI with extensive AI/ML experience
8+ years programming in Python/Go/Scala/Java
Experience deploying AI on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Ability to lead and mentor multiple engineering teams
Experience developing AI/ML algorithms using modern frameworks and tools

Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components (foundation models, LLM inference, guardrails)
Leverage a broad stack of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies (AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, Nemo Guardrails, PyTorch)
Develop state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques for scalable production AI systems
Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems at Capital One
