Job summary

Cortex Consultants LLC is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for a US remote role, preferably near Indianapolis, IN. You will lead AI/ML and Agentic AI initiatives across analytics, data engineering, and production deployment.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, semantic modeling, Databricks, and building scalable MLOps/DevSecOps pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of AI/ML experience.
• Hands-on AI/ML across development and deployment.
• Experience with semantic modeling and data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI/ML and Agentic AI solutions.
• Build and maintain semantic models to support analytics and AI applications.
• Perform data engineering using Databricks, including data processing and transformation.
• Design and implement scalable MLOps/DevSecOps practices for AI/ML solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Support the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML models, from development through deployment and monitoring.
