Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise AI solutions leveraging LLMs, Agentic AI, and RAG architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready AI applications.

In this role you will build AI solutions, design scalable architectures with memory and state management, and evaluate models for hallucinations and performance while advancing MLOps practices in a remote work setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in AI/ML, data science, or software engineering.
• Strong ML algorithms, evaluation metrics, and validation.
• Expertise in Agentic AI: LLMs, RAG, memory, reasoning, prompts.
• Hands-on building AI solutions with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini.
• Experience with Python and AI frameworks LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex.
• Proven ability to evaluate AI systems, detect hallucinations, and measure performance.
• Knowledge of scalable architectures, workflow orchestration, and AI governance.
• Experience deploying production AI using MLOps/LLMOps.
