Computer Merchant, Ltd., The seeks a Senior AI Developer to lead AI/ML and backend development for intelligent document processing in a remote capacity. You will design scalable AWS-based cloud solutions, integrate Snowflake, and build agentic AI workflows to transform unstructured data with strong governance.

The role emphasizes production experience with workflow orchestration, data modeling, and secure software delivery in healthcare contexts, with a broad exposure to enterprise data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related professional experience, including technical design and coding in IT.
• At least 5 years of software development, with 2+ years in AI/ML or data engineering in production.
• Hands-on expertise in backend or service development, including scalable APIs and microservices.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2) and modern data platforms like Snowflake.
• Experience building, training, deploying, and operationalizing AI models, with LLMs and RAG.
• Production experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Step Functions, Temporal).
• Understanding of data modeling, pipeline architecture, QA, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-enabled intelligent document processing solutions to extract and classify unstructured data.
• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions using AWS, Snowflake, and related platforms.
• Develop autonomous agents using AgentCore and LangGraph to process enterprise data.
• Design and deliver production-grade workflow orchestration for reliability and compliance.
• Build synchronous and asynchronous services, APIs, and microservices for document ingestion and processing.
• Apply data management practices including cataloging, lineage, retention, and protection with healthcare compliance.
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions; mentor junior engineers.
