Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking a Senior AI Engineer in Overland Park, KS (Hybrid) to own end-to-end AI initiatives—from problem definition to production optimization. You will work hands-on, writing production code, reviewing critical implementations, and driving technical direction with a focus on real-time speech AI and multimodal systems.

The role requires leadership in architecture and execution, experience with AWS, LangChain, and state-of-the-art AI technologies, and a strong ability

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on full-stack software engineering with production-grade AI/ML backends.
• 3+ years building production-grade modern AI systems, esp. real-time speech and multimodal AI.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade AI systems from concept to production.
• Prototype, build, and deploy real-time AI applications for speech, voice agents, and latency-sensitive experiences.
• Lead AI capabilities like agent orchestration, tool calling, RAG, memory, and evaluation systems.
