Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to drive the design and deployment of agentic AI and propensity models. You will work across teams to optimize customer journeys, reduce churn, and deliver measurable business outcomes in a hybrid work environment.

You will lead end-to-end ML pipelines, mentor junior data scientists, and communicate insights to executives. The role emphasizes cutting-edge NLP, Transformers, and scalable ML in production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience.
• Experience leading high-priority ML projects in a corporate setting.
• Knowledge of LLM agent architecture: Google ADK, LangChain/LangGraph, multi-agent orchestration, RAG, MCP, A2A protocols.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for advanced modeling and data extraction.
• Strong ML/DL background including Transformers, NLP, and PyTorch/scikit-learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of agentic AI, LLM, and ML solutions.
• Build, train, and deploy high-priority propensity models to predict churn, likelihood-to-buy, and lifecycle triggers.
• Manage end-to-end model development pipelines from feature engineering to production deployment.
• Mentor junior data scientists and provide technical guidance across teams.
• Own model lifecycle in high-impact areas with continuous optimization and measurable impact.
• Present model insights and performance to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
