Job summary

Körber Global Business Services GmbH is seeking an AI Engineer to build, deploy, and operate AI solutions within production environments. You will work with product managers and architects to deliver end-to-end AI across the group.

You will deploy ML models to production, develop APIs and integrations, and monitor performance with observability dashboards. A 3–6 year background in software/AI engineering and cloud exposure is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML engineering; deploying apps and services in cloud environments.
• Proficient in Python; modern software engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, containers, and DevOps tooling.
• Exposure to AI, ML, LLMs, prompt engineering, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Familiar with monitoring, logging, and operational support practices.
• Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or GCP) desirable; AI/Data/ML certifications advantageous.
• Problem-solving mindset and collaborative working style; commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

• Deploy ML and generative AI models into production environments.
• Develop APIs, services, and integrations embedding AI into business apps.
• Monitor model performance, latency, reliability and implement observability dashboards.
• Troubleshoot incidents and support ongoing service operations for stability.
• Optimize AI solutions for performance, cost, and maintainability; support CI/CD and MLOps.
• Contribute to automation and operational efficiency improvements for AI delivery.
• Collaborate with vendors and platform providers for stability; assist testing and deployment.
• Work with Product Managers and Architects to shape and deliver AI solutions end-to-end.
