Max AI, Inc. is the world’s first human-free, fully autonomous medical billing AI agent, pursuing a Stripe-for-healthcare paradigm.

We’re seeking an AI Engineer to push NLP-driven medical coding and revenue-cycle automation, collaborating with a small, high-impact team and directly with our Operations team and customers. You will own experiments, build AI frameworks, and apply LLMs to real-world healthcare data.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of ML/AI/data science in a production setting.
• Proficiency with ML/NLP Python libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Transformers).
• Expertise in NLP, including preprocessing, embeddings, transformer-based models.
• Experience with LLMs, supervised fine-tuning, and AI evaluation frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Build, experiment, and evaluate AI agents and ML models in NLP to improve medical coding/billing and revenue cycle management.
• Contribute to internal AI frameworks for agents and ML models.
• Collaborate with a small, high-impact team and engage directly with our Operations team and customers to drive improvements.
