Job summary

FutureFit AI is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our data team. You will build LLM-based products that sit between job seekers and their next opportunities, including chat-based coaching and agentic workflows.

You'll own evidence-driven design, evaluation, and integration with data sources and enterprise systems, partnering with Engineering, Product, and Data & AI leadership to ship responsible, high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in applied ML/AI engineering shipping production systems.
• Built and shipped LLM-based features to production with prompt engineering and tool use.
• Defined evaluation metrics and did regression analysis for open-ended outputs.
• Strong ML fundamentals with hands-on predictive/classification modeling.
• Fluent in Python and SQL with production code experience.
• Experience building data and integration foundations: pipelines and governance.
• Awareness of safety and guardrails in high-stakes domains.
• Ability to explain models and trade-offs to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship LLM-driven product experiences end to end.
• Develop coaching and pathways grounded in evidence with observed transitions.
• Own evaluation harnesses and quality measurement including offline/online.
• Develop predictive, classification, and ranking models when appropriate.
• Manage data pipelines and knowledge sources for reliable AI.
• Integrations with internal tools and enterprise systems with guardrails.
