Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead AI engineering across multiple teams and projects.

You will shape solutions from discovery to production, partnering with business leaders to maximize value while evaluating emerging models and ensuring responsible AI practices. The role requires deep AI expertise, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to mentor engineers and build alignment with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Master's degree or PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with business leaders and stakeholders across Tri-State.
• Lead discovery with business units to identify AI opportunities.
• Frame problems into AI solutions with clear success criteria and value.
• Develop business cases and prioritization for AI opportunities.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI solutions across teams and projects.
• Architect AI platforms and shared services across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Lead technology and vendor evaluations and platform recommendations.
• Mentor engineers across multiple AI teams.
