SpaceX is seeking a Sr. AI Engineer in Special Programs to design and deploy AI capabilities for U.S. federal agencies, collaborating with product, research, and governance teams to deliver safe, transparent AI.

You will integrate frontier models with government platforms and data environments, and build APIs, SDKs, and tools for gov/enterprise developers. You will work with agency stakeholders to translate needs into concrete technical solutions, shipping production-grade code under tight

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM or 2+ years of software development experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering building scalable systems, APIs, or AI/ML apps; strong Python proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and optimize integrations between AI frontier models and government systems and data environments.
• Collaborate on custom SDKs, APIs, developer tools, and documentation for government and enterprise developers.
• Partner with agency stakeholders to understand requirements and iterate rapidly based on feedback.
• Ship production-grade code and features with emphasis on speed, simplicity, and impact.
