Job summary

The Phia Group is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to design, build, and scale AI-powered healthcare applications. You will work on Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and AI-assisted development using Claude, GPT, and other LLM platforms.

You’ll shape the AI roadmap, optimize developer productivity with AI tools, and integrate intelligent workflows across healthcare platforms. Responsibilities include building RAG pipelines, deploying LLM-driven apps, architecting multi-agent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field and relevant experience
• Strong experience with Python (FastAPI preferred) and modern backend/full-stack frameworks
• Hands-on experience with RAG, embeddings, and vector databases
• Experience deploying applications on Azure (AKS, Azure AI services)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with MS SQL, Azure storage, Azure App services, APIM

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered software for healthcare applications
• Build production-grade AI systems and scalable workflows
• Develop RAG pipelines with vector databases and embeddings
• Create LLM-powered apps (chatbots, copilots) and AI tooling
• Integrate AI services with enterprise APIs and platforms
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for AI workloads
• Monitor performance, latency, and cost efficiency of AI solutions
