Job summary
Delan Associates, Inc is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Engineering) with 7+ years of software experience and 2+ years in GenAI/LLMs. Hybrid work, ~10 onsite days per month, with roles across Charlotte, NY/NJ. You will design AI-powered developer tools, build AI agents, and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise workflows.
You will collaborate with engineering teams to drive automation, CI/CD integration, and scalable API development for AI-driven software delivery.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering.
- 2+ years of GenAI/LLMs experience.
- Experience with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or AWS Bedrock.
- Hands-on AI agent frameworks and REST API discipline.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered developer productivity solutions.
- Build and implement AI agents using agentic frameworks.
- Integrate AI into enterprise platforms and dev tools.
- Develop scalable APIs and AI-enabled applications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify automation opportunities.
