Job summary

Abacus Insights is seeking a Senior Forward-Deployed AI Engineer to design and build AI/GenAI systems powering our Snowflake-based platform. The role combines hands-on Snowflake work with direct client delivery, with Databricks experience a plus.

The senior engineer will drive technical architecture decisions, work with clients to scope AI/ML use cases, implement solutions in client environments, and help shape the AI roadmap while keeping human insight at the center of every engagement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software/AI engineering experience, including hands-on design of AI/ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI/GenAI architectures on Snowflake for client deployments.
• Build and maintain semantic layers and metrics reporting driven by enterprise requirements.
• Lead direct client engagements: scoping use-cases, delivering solutions, and troubleshooting in production settings.
• Guide technical vision and roadmap for AI components in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and operations to move AI work to production.
