Datasite is seeking a senior AI engineer to build and improve AI capabilities across products used for executive decision-making. You will work hands-on with ML engineering, experiment with modern AI methods, and integrate AI workflows into production systems.

You will collaborate with software, product, and data teams, ensuring secure, scalable deployments across remote and on-prem environments. The role emphasizes mentorship and advancing AI capabilities across the platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on AI/ML in production.
• Strong Python development and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Experience with LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and AI orchestration.
• Experience with containers and modern delivery (Docker, CI/CD, Git).
• Familiarity with security and compliance for production AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize AI components and production pipelines.
• Experiment with advanced AI approaches and turn promising methods into useful product features.
• Integrate AI capabilities with wider software and product systems.
• Improve the performance, scalability, reliability, and security of AI workflows.
• Support on-premises AI deployments and help maintain compliant infrastructure.
• Share engineering practices, mentor less-experienced colleagues, and recommend improvements based on emerging technologies.

Requirements

• At least four years of hands‑on AI or machine learning engineering experience in production environments.
• Strong Python development skills and practical experience with common machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit‑learn.
• Working knowledge of large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with containerized development and modern delivery practices, including Docker, continuous integration and delivery, and Git.
• Familiarity with security principles and compliance considerations for production AI systems.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying and operating AI systems on premises.
• Experience with major cloud AI platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
