Job summary

JFL Consulting LLC seeks an AI Engineer – Agentic Orchestration (Senior) to architect and build back-end API integrations and data pipelines for a government-focused enterprise AI platform in the DC area. You will develop interface contracts, high-throughput pipelines, and agentic AI workflows while ensuring security and reliability.

The role requires US citizenship and an active Secret clearance, with 8+ years in back-end/API roles.

Qualifications

Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required.
Active Secret clearance.
8+ years of back-end or API integration engineering experience.
Experience delivering software in DoD/IC or federal programs in secure cloud environments preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain production API integrations ingesting data from diverse sources into COP.
Design, version, and enforce REST/GraphQL interfaces and OpenAPI specs.
Build high-throughput data pipelines and integrated data products within enterprise platforms.
Develop agentic AI workflows and orchestration layers with robust testing and security.
Write documentation, perform reviews, and ensure secure development practices.
