Job summary

JFL Consulting, LLC in the DC‑Metro area is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for Agentic Orchestration. You will architect and deploy production API integrations and data pipelines, delivering predictive, decision-grade capabilities to customers.

The role requires 8+ years of backend/API experience, a Secret clearance, and hands-on work with open standards, cloud services (AWS GovCloud), and secure integration testing. On-site, hybrid, and remote work options are available with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
• Clearance: Active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8+ years of professional back-end or API integration engineering experience.
• Experience designing, versioning, and operating production APIs and data pipelines.
• Experience delivering software on DoD/IC or federal programs in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain production API integrations that ingest data from multiple sources into the COP.
• Design, implement, and version robust interface contracts (REST/GraphQL, OpenAPI).
• Build and operate high-throughput data-pipeline components (e.g., Kafka).
• Integrate data products and pipelines within Palantir Foundry and AWS GovCloud.
• Implement enterprise authentication and authorization patterns across services.
• Design agentic AI workflows and orchestration layers.
• Write integration and contract tests; maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure security, performance, and observability of pipelines.
