This role is not for tourists. It’s for someone who eats ambiguous problems for breakfast, doesn’t flinch at scale, and wants to prove they can outbuild anyone in the room. You’ll be powering everything from AI-driven recommendations, to visual search from trim/image inputs, to build-based social proof systems that no one else has figured out—yet.

What You’ll Be Doing

We need a real builder—someone who ships, owns, and obsesses. Here's what you’ll take on:

• Invent the Future – Use NLP, computer vision, and graph learning to identify, classify, and recommend aftermarket parts from messy web data, user inputs, and build histories.
• Engineer for Trust – Build smart, scalable pipelines that produce product recommendations with 85–90%+ confidence—down to trim, fitment, and mod pairing.
• Go Full-Stack (AI-style) – Own models end-to-end: from raw data ingestion to inference APIs to in-product logic.
• Turn Feedback into Features – Use real user input (feedback, A/Bs, behavior) to make the product smarter, more magical, and harder to leave.
• Prototype the Unbuilt – Build systems others wouldn’t think of: social proof maps, mod-bundle predictors, AI agents that act like expert builders.

• Deep ML Chops – You’re fluent in recommender systems, embeddings, LLMs, or computer vision. You know the trade-offs between elegance and what actually works.
• Python Pro, Production Vet – You’ve trained models and shipped them. You know how to build for speed and reliability.
• Scrappy With Scale – You’ve scraped, cleaned, labeled, and tamed ugly real-world data—and you know how to make it useful.
• Frontend-Aware – You can work alongside our React/Next.js frontend team to make AI output feel native, not bolted on.
