Job summary

Integra Tech Advisors is building an AI infrastructure layer that powers autonomous agents used in creator commerce. You will architect an orchestration core, develop tools for real-world agent capabilities, and ship APIs in TypeScript/NestJS on PostgreSQL, deployed on AWS.

You will join a small, high-skill team to make nondeterministic AI behavior legible through run tracing, evals, and feedback loops, shaping how our AI strategy runs in production for years to come.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js fundamentals.
• Experience building production-grade internal platforms, orchestration, or developer tooling.
• Hands-on AI/agent experience including tool calling and context/memory design.
• Experience deploying and operating production services on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Architect the orchestration core powering autonomous, multi-step AI agents.
• Build tool layers with live integrations and a dynamic tool registry.
• Create console agent managers in React for real-time evaluation and iteration of agents.
• Address nondeterministic AI behavior with run tracing, evals, and feedback loops.

Job description

A recently minted unicorn — valued at $1.5B and backed by top-tier growth investors — is building the AI infrastructure that powers human-led creator commerce at scale.

About the Role

This is a rare shot at building an AI infrastructure layer from the ground up — not a chatbot wrapper, but a full agent orchestration platform every internal AI agent runs on. You'll join a small, elite team defining how autonomous agents get built, evaluated, and trusted in production, inventing the abstractions the company's AI strategy will run on for years.

What You'll Do

• Architect the orchestration core powering autonomous, multi-step AI agents — triggers, durable workflows, and runs that can pause and resume around human judgment
• Build the tool layer that gives agents real-world capability: live integrations with Slack, Linear, GitHub, Notion, and MCP, plus a dynamic tool registry
• Build the console agent managers use to create, evaluate, and iterate on agents in real time (React)
• Solve the hard, mostly-unsolved problem of making nondeterministic AI behavior legible — run tracing, evals, feedback loops, cost attribution
• Design and ship APIs in TypeScript/NestJS on Postgres, deployed on AWS

What We're Looking For

• Strong TypeScript, Node.js, and relational database fundamentals
• Real experience building systems that other engineers build on — internal platforms, frameworks, orchestration, or developer tooling
• Genuine hands-on AI/agent experience: tool calling, context and memory design, evaluating nondeterministic behavior
• Experience deploying and operating production services on AWS
• AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as a core part of how you already work
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

Bonus Points

• You've built on or operated durable-execution/workflow engines (Temporal or similar)
• You've shipped agent systems, worked with frameworks like LangGraph or the Claude Agent SDK, written MCP servers, or built eval harnesses
• High-growth startup experience
• You like mentoring and shaping engineering culture
