Job summary

Integra Tech Advisors in NYC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale the Agent Platform, delivering real-time, AI-driven workflows for decision-making.

You will design the orchestration core, implement APIs in TypeScript/NestJS, and operate the platform on AWS, while mentoring teammates and shaping engineering culture in a fast-growing unicorn.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience deploying and operating production services on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with LLM tool-calling and evaluation.
• Ability to design systems that other engineers build on.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the orchestration core — triggers, durable workflows, human-in-the-loop approvals
• Build the tool layer that gives agents their capabilities: Slack, Linear, GitHub, Notion, MCP
• Build the management console agent managers use to create and improve agents (React)
• Make agent behavior legible: run tracing, evals, feedback loops, cost attribution
• Design and implement APIs in TypeScript and NestJS backed by Postgres
• Deploy and operate the platform on AWS (ECS, ALB, CloudFormation, CloudWatch)

Senior Software Engineer, Agent Platform

Location: NYC

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a hypergrowth, recently minted unicorn redefining human-led commerce.

The company recently raised at a $1.5B valuation, with backing from Bessemer Venture Partners, and Bain Capital Ventures. You'll work closely with the CTO and senior engineers to build and ship real-time conversational workflows, agentic systems, including search and personalization, powering AI-orchestrated decision logic for high-impact 0-to-1 product launches.

What You'll Do:

• Design and evolve the orchestration core — triggers, durable workflows, human-in-the-loop approvals
• Build the tool layer that gives agents their capabilities: Slack, Linear, GitHub, Notion, MCP
• Build the management console agent managers use to create and improve agents (React)
• Make agent behavior legible: run tracing, evals, feedback loops, cost attribution
• Design and implement APIs in TypeScript and NestJS backed by Postgres
• Deploy and operate the platform on AWS (ECS, ALB, CloudFormation, CloudWatch)

Bonus Points:

• Built on or operated durable-execution or workflow engines (Temporal or similar)
• Shipped agent systems, agent frameworks, MCP servers, or eval harnesses
• Experience in high-growth startups or fast-paced product environments
• Enjoy mentoring and shaping engineering culture

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases
• Experience building systems other engineers build on
• Hands-on LLM experience: tool calling, memory, evaluating nondeterministic behavior
• Experience running production services on AWS
• AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as core to how you work
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
