Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience with Python and/or Golang.
• Hands-on experience building agentic AI workflows in production.
• Experience deploying LLMs and AI APIs into production environments.
• Familiar with orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI or similar.
• Strong frontend experience with TypeScript and React.

Job description

A fast-growth startup is hiring a Senior AI Software Engineer to join the founding engineering team at a pivotal moment. You'll be building the infrastructure that powers the next generation of intelligent workforce training, where autonomous AI agents deliver personalized learning, generate adaptive content, and optimize skill development in real time.

This isn't a "we use AI" company. LLMs, agentic workflows, and modern full-stack architecture are the core product. You'll work across a Python and Golang backend with a TypeScript/React frontend, collaborating directly with AI/ML engineers to ship agentic pipelines that power real training and upskilling at scale. This is a fullstack software role, and a massive portion of the role will be AI development. Candidates MUST have 1+ year of experience building AI workflows and 6+ years of professional software development experience to be considered for the role.

What You'll Do

• Design and scale full-stack features across a Python/Golang backend and a TypeScript/React frontend
• Build systems that process high-volume learning and performance data in real time
• Architect and integrate LLM-powered agentic workflows (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, RAG pipelines) that autonomously generate training content, personalize learning paths, and drive skill assessment
• Own the reliability and scalability of multi-agent orchestration systems in production
• Manage AWS infrastructure (ECS/EKS, RDS, networking, monitoring) with IaC (Terraform/CDK/CloudFormation)
• Lead architecture discussions and system design for AI-native, production-grade systems

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with meaningful time in Python and/or Golang backends
• Strong frontend experience with TypeScript and React
• 1+ year hands-on experience building agentic AI workflows in production
• Hands-on experience deploying LLMs and AI APIs into production, including agentic or multi-agent systems
• Familiarity with orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar)
• Comfort with async patterns and building for scale
• Strong communication and mentoring instincts
• At ease in fast-paced, high-autonomy startup environments
• 0 to 1 startup experience - absolute must!
