Job summary

BCforward is seeking an AI + SQE Automation Architect to join our team as a contract expert in Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on AI-enabled quality engineering, scalable automation, and integration within CI/CD, with onsite work and a 12-month scope.

The candidate will drive governance of testing standards, lead AI-assisted test strategies, and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Product teams to accelerate delivery while reducing risk.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Quality Engineering architecture and test automation framework design; Selenium is required.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python, plus SQL and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise Quality Engineering architecture strategy, standards, patterns, and roadmap.
• Architect scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, performance, resiliency, accessibility, and end-to-end testing.
• Design AI-enabled capabilities for test design acceleration, asset generation, regression optimization, defect prediction, and quality insights.
• Establish patterns for AI-assisted test impact analysis, dependency mapping, and regression scope identification across complex portfolios.
• Develop reusable platforms, services, and accelerators to standardize testing practices across teams.
• Embed continuous testing and quality gates within DevSecOps and CI/CD ecosystems.
