Job summary

Heartflow is seeking a Test Architect to lead end-to-end automated testing across frontend, backend, 3D modeling, and AI/ML systems. This senior role sets the technical direction for regulated SaMD testing, builds scalable automation, and champions AI-assisted authoring and self-healing strategies.

You will partner with RA/QA and engineering leadership to ensure traceability, audits, and evidence across CI/CD pipelines. This founding technical hire shapes Heartflow's Test Engineering function.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in software test engineering or QA leadership with hands-on automation
• Regulated SaMD/test strategy ownership and strong QA documentation experience
• Expertise with Selenium/WebDriver and Playwright in large-scale environments
• Experience defining AI-assisted testing tools/methodologies and CI/CD integration
• Bachelor-level or higher in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• Set and evolve end-to-end test automation strategy for Heartflow’s platform
• Lead AI-first testing approach and LLM-driven triage across teams
• Own post-deployment testing, production monitoring, and validation against live environments
• Define testing standards for interoperability protocols and medical imaging data
• Mentor engineers and drive quality engineering practices across the team
