Job summary

Axon Enterprise in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a senior software engineer to lead end-to-end healthcare platform initiatives. You will design complex systems, collaborate with product managers and customers, and drive AI-enabled development in EHR-integrations and device workflows.

The role emphasizes high availability, security, and scalable architecture, with a hybrid onsite schedule and opportunities to mentor teammates while shaping enterprise product strategies for AI-powered healthcare

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
Experience designing cloud-based, highly available systems.
Experience with EHR integrations and healthcare interoperability standards.
Ability to lead technical projects across teams.

Responsibilities

Own the design and implementation of complex systems and services supporting new healthcare enterprise product initiatives.
Build and evolve proofs-of-concepts into production-ready systems that integrate with Axon’s platform and healthcare systems.
Design and deliver AI-powered capabilities for clinical and operational workflows.
Collaborate with Product Managers and healthcare customers to clarify requirements and iterate based on feedback.
Coordinate technical work across engineers and adjacent teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Uphold high technical standards through code and architecture reviews with focus on security and reliability.
Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows across the team.
