Job summary

TENEX.AI in Overland Park, KS seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to lead monitoring, incident response and threat hunting. You will mentor teammates and leverage AI/ML with Google Chronicle to enhance detection, analysis, and rapid response.

The role collaborates with IT, Data Science and security teams to optimize Chronicle, automate workflows, and produce insightful reports for stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a SOC or similar security role.
• Hands-on with security analytics, log management, threat hunting and incident response.
• Interest in automation, AI and ML for cybersecurity tasks.
• Proficiency with scripting in Python or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts and events, triage, investigate and correlate to assess threat impact.
• Lead incident response: containment, eradication and recovery actions.
• Work with Google SecOps and Chronicle to centralize data and accelerate responses.
• Develop automated workflows for SOC tasks and enhance threat intel enrichment.
• Create reports on incidents and threat trends for internal stakeholders.
