TENEX.AI is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our SOC, bringing deep cybersecurity expertise and a track record mentoring teammates. The role emphasizes leveraging AI/ML technologies, especially Google Chronicle, to enhance detection, analysis, and response to security incidents.

The role requires leadership in incident response, collaboration with IT, Data Science, and Engineering, and ongoing improvement of security processes within a fast-growing, AI-driven MDR environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a SOC or security-focused role.
• Hands-on with security analytics, log management, threat hunting and IR.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts and events across the network, using AI/ML threat detection.
• Triage, investigate, and correlate security events for severity and impact.
• Leverage Google Chronicle for threat intel and log analysis.
• Apply AI to identify patterns, anomalies, and reduce false positives.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents.
• Investigate and analyze incidents, automating initial analysis.
• Contain, eradicate, and recover from incidents per procedures.
• Root cause analysis and mitigation recommendations.
• Utilize Google SecOps and Chronicle to centralize security data.
• Apply ML to identify emerging threats and trends.
• Work with SecOps tools to streamline operations.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, Data Science and Engineering teams.
• Develop automated workflows for common incidents.
• Automate routine SOC tasks like log analysis and enrichment.
• Create reports on incidents and threat intelligence with AI-driven insights.
• Prepare performance and security posture reports for stakeholders.
• Share knowledge and promote AI-powered security initiatives.
