Job summary

Symbotic is hiring a Senior Security Automation Engineer to design and build AI-driven automations, internal applications, copilots, and agentic workflows that enhance security, IT, and governance teams.

You will own end-to-end solutions, shape requirements, select architecture, and validate code for production deployment within a small, high-trust team. Hybrid work at Wilmington, MA with a focus on security and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Hands-on experience building with AI and LLM systems, including APIs and agent frameworks.
• Ability to design secure, production-grade automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven automations, internal applications, copilots, and workflow orchestration solutions.
• Build agentic workflows that retrieve context, reason through tasks, and generate actionable outputs.
• Automate security, compliance, and operational processes to reduce manual effort and speed up responses.
• Integrate AI workflows with ITSM, IAM, SIEM, SOAR, GRC, ticketing, knowledge management, vulnerability management, and cloud security tools.
• Develop secure human-in-the-loop approval patterns for high-risk AI actions.
