Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Offensive Security Engineer to push the frontier of AI-driven security. You will build autonomous LLM agents, conduct targeted exploitation, and integrate offensive tooling across fleets. This is a hands-on role blending security practice with building agentic systems.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in security engineering with at least 4 years in offensive security (pentest/red team).
• Deep hands-on exploitation skills in web, cloud/Kubernetes, or systems/binary.
• Strong software engineering ability in Python; production code not just PoCs.
• Experience building with LLMs: agent frameworks, multi-agent orchestration, or coding agents.
• Sound judgment on autonomous offensive tooling, including scoping and authorization.
• Responsible approach to offensive testing with careful risk management.

Responsibilities

• Craft new red team agents: autonomous and semi-autonomous LLM agents for recon and exploitation.
• Extend agent harnesses across runtimes and model providers for orchestration.
• Encode operator tradecraft into prompts, tools and playbooks for web, cloud, and Kubernetes paths.
• Build verification: exploit-confirmation harnesses to prove findings before review.
• Develop safety: sandboxing, scope enforcement, tool allowlists/blocklists, credential isolation.
• Benchmark frontier models for offensive tasks and translate engagements into repeatable assets.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar for agentic tooling.
