Job summary

Axiom is building a closed-loop scientific AI system to replace animal testing and accelerate human safety testing. We seek exceptional drug discovery scientists with strong computational instincts to create experimental datasets, agentic systems, and product capabilities that predict human drug outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with drug discovery programs and decision-making in hit-to-lead, lead-optimisation, or candidate nomination.
• Medicinal chemistry reasoning around structure–activity and structure–property relationships.
• ADME/DMPK, PK/PD interpretation, and exposure–response reasoning.
• Strong computational chemistry, engineering, biology, and ML ability.
• Presentation and soft skills with ability to manage customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship agentic tools and data systems that let agents accurately predict human drug outcomes.
• Own key customer deliverables end to end, including data generation, QC/QA, computational analysis, agentic workflows, data presentation, and partnerships to translate results into drug decisions.
• Partner with drug hunters at top pharma companies, AI labs, and cross-functional teams to build datasets and agentic systems for accurate predictions and deployment into discovery workflows.
• Collaborate across chemistry, biology, ML, engineering, and lab teams to embed customer goals and feed back into data generation and models.
• Expand insights from engagements by productionizing analytics and reducing cycle time for subsequent customers.
• Conduct independent analyses to improve data quality and develop scalable analytical frameworks.
