Job summary

EY seeks a Senior Application Designer and Developer to deliver cross‑platform user interfaces and robust backend services. You will translate business needs into scalable APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI, while collaborating with clients and stakeholders.

You will apply AI techniques to solve real business problems, design distributed systems, and contribute to cloud architectures within a hybrid client‑facing model.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD)
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs.
• Designing and developing user interfaces that are not only functional but also enhance user experience.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives.
