Job description

Overview

We’re currently seeking a Senior AI Developer Technology Engineer for the Financial Sector. The role focuses on designing and optimizing parallel algorithms for high-performance AI workloads in finance, leveraging cutting‑edge GPU and CPU architectures.

Responsibilities
  • Research and develop techniques to GPU-accelerate AI and HPC workloads at the intersection of AI and financial markets.
  • Collaborate with technical experts (industry and academia) to analyze and optimize complex AI and HPC workloads for modern CPU and GPU architectures.
  • Publish and present optimization techniques via developer blogs and conferences to educate the developer community.
  • Influence next‑generation hardware architectures, software, and programming models in collaboration with NVIDIA research, hardware, and software teams.
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of relevant work or research experience.
  • Direct experience improving the performance of large computational applications used by financial institutions.
  • Excellent understanding of linear algebra.
  • Programming fluency in C/C++ with deep understanding of algorithms and software design.
  • Hands‑on experience with low‑level parallel programming (CUDA, OpenACC, OpenMP, MPI, pthreads, TBB, etc.).
  • In‑depth expertise with CPU/GPU architecture fundamentals.
  • Good communication and organization skills, logical approach to problem solving, and prioritization skills.
Desired (Optional) Qualifications
  • Master’s or PhD in a relevant field.
  • Experience in capital markets, systematic/algorithmic strategies, quantitative trading.
  • Experience parallelizing and optimizing machine learning algorithms such as decision trees, time series, Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Deep knowledge of financial data models, pricing/risk simulation algorithms, portfolio optimization.
  • Experience developing ML/DL techniques in finance (stock market prediction, fraud detection, portfolio optimization/selection).
Benefits & Compensation

Base salary ranges: Level3 – $152,000–$241,500; Level4 – $184,000–$287,500. Additionally, eligibility for equity and benefits.
