Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a Senior AI Developer Technology Engineer for the Financial Sector to design and optimize parallel algorithms on cutting-edge platforms. You will explore GPU-accelerated AI workloads in finance and collaborate with experts across industry and academia.

The role emphasizes publishing findings, influencing next-generation hardware and software, and delivering high-performance solutions. Base salary bands plus equity are provided, with applications accepted through Aug 9, 2026.

Qualifications

An advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related computationally focused science degree (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of relevant work or research experience.
Direct experience improving the performance of large computational applications used by financial institutions.
Excellent understanding of linear algebra.
Programming fluency in C/C++ with a deep understanding of algorithms and software design.
Hands-on experience with low-level parallel programming, e.g., CUDA, OpenACC, OpenMP, MPI, pthreads, TBB, etc.
In-depth expertise with CPU/GPU architecture fundamentals.
Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

Research and develop GPU-accelerated techniques for AI workloads in finance.
Collaborate with industry and academia to optimize AI/HPC workloads for CPU/GPU architectures.
Publish optimization techniques in developer blogs or relevant conferences.
Influence hardware/software design across NVIDIA teams.
