Job summary

EY is looking for an AI Systems Engineer to own the stateful backbone of EY’s AI-native platform. You will manage relational and vector stores, object storage, and durable workflows across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped environments.

You will also own streaming, change data capture, and governance to ensure durability and reliability in regulated client contexts. The role emphasizes stateful data systems, multi-tenant isolation, and automation via infrastructure-as-code to reduce toil.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Own the memory and data stores across environments and tenants.
• Own event streaming and async messaging systems.
• Own data durability, consistency, and recoverability.
• Build and operate streaming and CDC pipelines with schema governance.
• Make state multi-tenant and portable with clear isolation and semantics.
• Provide data and lineage substrate for governance and AI capabilities.
