Job summary

The role focuses on solving complex data challenges, optimizing data throughput and cost, and owning projects from discovery to deployment in a fully distributed environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering with strong backend fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience building/operating production systems, especially data pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Discover new audio data sources and build reliable data pipelines.
• Build and optimize large-scale data-processing systems for quality, throughput, and cost.
• Collaborate with AI scientists to improve training datasets and models.
• Own engineering projects from discovery to implementation and improvement.
