Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to join its AI team and build the data pipelines powering model training and next-gen products. You’ll work on high-quality datasets at petabyte scale, combining engineering, infrastructure, and research to improve AI performance.

You’ll collaborate with AI Scientists, own projects from discovery to deployment, and help scale data pipelines across a distributed, remote team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience building production data pipelines or large-scale processing.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Discover new audio data sources and build pipelines for training datasets.
• Build and optimize large-scale data-processing systems for quality and cost.
• Collaborate with AI scientists to improve training datasets and models.
• Own projects from discovery through implementation and iteration.
