Job summary

Accenture is seeking a data engineer to lead data-engineering work on migration engagements, building pipelines and data products for AI systems with evidence-extraction methods. You will mine git history and analyze dependencies to ensure accurate mappings before trust is placed in data.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, strong Python/SQL production skills, and cloud data experience, plus Agile delivery in a travel-friendly environment. Travel variance is 0–100%.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years hands-on data engineering experience, with 1–2 years on AI/LLM data work.
• Minimum of 4 years in agile engineering or consulting teams.
• Minimum of 3 years with Python and SQL at production scale and one cloud data platform.
• Experience with data lineage and data observability to detect drift.

Responsibilities

• Lead the data-engineering work on a migration engagement, including pipelines and data products for AI systems.
• Apply evidence-extraction techniques such as dependency analysis and git-history mining before mapping.
• Travel may be required; amount varies from 0 to 100% based on business needs.
