Job summary

The Walt Disney Company seeks a Data Engineer III within Disney Experiences Intelligence (DXi) to craft AI-powered data platforms and scalable pipelines. You will work across the data lifecycle, from architecture to delivery, applying innovative data strategies in a fast-paced, cloud-based environment.

You will collaborate with Data Strategy and AI teams, emphasizing performance, quality, and adaptability to evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Strong fundamentals in data pipelining, ELT/ETL, data architecture, and lifecycle.
• Hands-on design and implementation of efficient data workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL, and multi-language development.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, and supervise architecture for data platforms and pipelines.
• Streamline data flow, routing, and storage across cloud and on‑premise.
• Apply AI-ready methods with big data, AI, and ML techniques.
• Ensure data quality, compatibility, and security across connections.
• Align data operations with organizational priorities and strategy.
• Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices.
• Provide escalation support and help enhance existing tools as needed.
